Forlan Welsh Cream is full sister to the great Forlan Welsh Honey and is a successful ridden pony in her own right. Although I never anticipated owning a double dilute, I fell in love with her at the 1996 NPS Summer Show, where she had qualified for the Picton Championship. She subsequently qualified for the P(UK) M&M FR 1997. In 2000 her daughter Follywood Fantasy, retained by her breeder, covered herself in glory, culminating in winning the mini-Badminton, her section of the Shearwater M&M WHP Ch., and ending up as Coalport WHP of the Year at the P(UK) Summer Show. In 1997 I decided to give up Section C's, and was thrilled when I was able to part-exchange Welsh Cream for a C filly. She has since bred 9 lovely foals, all great performers under saddle and in one case, driven as well, and is now retired from breeding in case my grandchildren want a pony to ride. Two daughters are retained.
